Sama seperti perintang, Capacitor ini terbahagi kepada dua jenis iaitu jenis Tetap dan Boleh Ubah.
Tetapi capacitor ini ada yang berpolarti(berkutub negatif dan positif), dan ada juga yang tidak berpolariti.
